I'd like to see an 'emote' on the lines of "/pose n", where n is the skill slot to use. This would make your character go through the motion of executing that skill w/o actually doing it; of course with the glow/aura of casting and everything.

Imagine a guild or group doing "/pose n *" so they all start doing an action pose at the same time, for a group screen shot!

By specifying a skill slot you can decide whether, as a R/Me for example, your pose is using your bow or casting. "/pose 0" could just be your default attack. As a Ranger, your pet would also be doing an attack pose too, of course.

Perhaps the animation can be slowed, exaggerated, or paused for a short time at it's apex to easier facilitate a screen shot.

ya and i can see it now, they will need to add the abilitiy to zoom in and get closeups of other characters

No, in a GROUP shot, you already have the ability to zoom out. If you want a close-up of another character then you wouldn't be posing next to them would you? So you can zoom in on them using the existing zoom function.

We're going for "Villiany of Galrath", and I'd love to have a group screenshot in action poses over the dead body of the boss!
